Community Spotlight on Philip Pratt
Philip Pratt, a Brigus resident, happens to be a significant Newfoundland architect, most famous for designing The Rooms, the facility which houses the provincial archives, gallery and museum, located in St. John’s. On sunday afternoon, he stopped by the barbeque we held for the community and was interested enough in our project to make the trip out to the site later that afternoon. After discussing our design with him, we learned that he is an avid hiker and has made the trip the lighthouse multiple times, so his insight on our design was very valuable. He even commented that our location was one of the nicest on the path!
