It’s 2013 and we’re ready to get back out there, this time we’re headed to Port Union, Newfoundland and Labrador! Established in 1916 as the headquarters of the FPU (Fishermen’s Protective Union), the town is a recognized heritage district and still retains much of its early form and charm. For this year’s build we’ll be calling on the broader Trinity Bay North Community, including Catalina, Little Catalina, Melrose to help guide our design process, and hopefully a few volunteers will come out, ready with hammer and nails in hand.
Keep checking back as we work with the Sir William Ford Coaker Foundation to complete our Cultural Background Report in preparation for the June 2013 Community Build!
