Eye Spy with My Little Eye Brigus – Part 3
Today we took a walk down North Street towards Water Street and stumbled across some fantastic wood frame houses. Brigus has a historic conservation district, which helps to ensure these architecturally significant buildings remain.
This was a convent in its original inception, but now stands as a pub, restaurant and B & B, unfortunately it isn’t open this season but we hope it opens soon!
The lilacs bushes are blooming and they smell amazing. You can find them all over town, they must be a community favourite.
We suspect this was originally a store, but is now part of a private residence.
Brigus Town Hall sits right along the creek and has a view to the harbour.
