Help is a’plenty!
We get by with a little help from our friends.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the project is engaging with the community, particularly the kids on the block. Since Monday, a group of kids have volunteered their time to help us with a couple of tasks! Today, Evan and Emily joined us to rake the gravel, measure the piles for us to cut, and even lifted some heavy timbers with the rest of the team. The more we engage with the youth, the more we empower them to build a healthier community.
On top of that, Evan also brought us a dryer drum that we could use for our fire pit, and a box of Robin’s donuts for us to enjoy! We can only hope that the rest of the cool kids on the block would volunteer, too. We’ve got two more days in Trinity Bay North!
